Use the equipment parts list or the reference on an existing item when asking about components for EV charging equipment. The charger model alone may not identify the switching, protection or monitoring component required.
Start with the specified component
List the complete Siemens order number and quantity for each item. Include the charging equipment reference and the relevant entry in its parts list when available.
If the specified list includes a SIRIUS device or a SENTRON monitoring item, include the exact reference for that item. A family name does not establish compatibility with a particular charger.
Keep the electrical details with the reference
Copy the relevant ratings, control or coil voltage, and interface information from the existing item or equipment specification. Keep these details with the corresponding order number.
If a marking is unreadable or a specification is missing, describe that gap in the request. Do not substitute a rating from a similar-looking device.
Separate items and questions
Put each component and quantity on its own line. List accessories separately and include the equipment or drawing reference that links them to the request.
State the delivery destination and any packing requirement in your message. Ask for availability, delivery details and any necessary configuration confirmation in the quotation before ordering.
